my name is maisie and I make oil paintings and drawings which explore my fascination with the human condition.

this is a theme I have been drawn to throughout my life. from my early memories of the hustle and bustle of house-church life in my northern city, to being captivated with the study of the human condition whilst studying theology: this fascination has always run in tandem with my formation and life.

it is like a thread, connecting experiences, people and stories, to make up my life. my work is my expression of what I have learnt being an observer of people, a hopeful dreamer and a very curious human being.
